In this video you’ll see how to build a trellis that is fairly good size which attaches to the home. This is not your standard garden trellis, this is a bit more involved, but what a beautiful addition to add on to your home. I have a buddy who surprised his wife with a trellis just like this one while she was gone on a business trip, she was so excited when she got home to see what he had done.

This style of trellis can be done alone if that is your only option but as you’ll see it’s much easier with a couple of people as opposed to being on your own.

Along with all the wood materials you’re also going to need a cordless drill, screws, hammer, nails, pencil, and ladder for these specific steps in the video.

There are many different trellis styles to choose from when building one. Feel free to be creative with whatever you do, the more you put your own personallity into it the better. I feel this is important when building your own creation, find a style that gels with who you are.
